Earlier this week, it was announced that The Late Late Toy Show - Ireland's most magical night of television - will once again be available to watch with Irish Sign Langauge (ISL) on the RTÉ News Channel and RTÉ Player.

Over the years, hearing interpreter Amanda Coogan has become a favourite among viewers, with her enthusiastic signing often being shared across social media.

This year, for the first time ever, two Deaf interpreters will be stepping into the role. Jason Maguire and Sarah Jane O'Regan will work as the show's on-screen presenters, while Amanda Coogan and Ciara Grant will take a behind the scenes roll, feeding them information off screen.

Maguire and O'Regan were available for a quick chat ahead of the big night. You can watch the two sign in the video above - the voices heard are their interpreters.

Describing it as "a dream job", Maguire and O'Regan told RTÉ Lifestyle that they take the job seriously and hope to bring their great chemistry and energy to the night.

"We are very aware of the gravity, that we are the access for Deaf children," says Sarah Jane.

Jason went on to explain that he hopes to inspire Deaf children around the country by working alongside the hearing interpreters.

"We work as a team to show that Deaf people can do this," he says. "RTÉ is giving us the opportunity to be involved to provide access for the Deaf children of the future, [to be] their role models."

"We hope it will be that way from now on for Deaf children" adds Sarah Jane. "That the word 'cannot' will be taken out of their vocabulary because they can see that they can do absolutely anything."

The Late Late Toy Show will be available with ISL on the RTÉ News Channel and RTÉ Player. Audio Description (AD) for the Blind and Vision Impaired audience will be available for the repeats of the Toy Show on Sunday and next Monday.
