Pete has no interest in Dolores' peace offering in Friday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Dolores has acquired a 21% stake in McCoy's from Zak - deceiving her husband Pete and the other members of the consortium in the process.
On Friday, she visits Pete in a bid to get him back.
Things do not go to plan.
"You came in here with your grand gesture, thinking you could buy me," he says. "Expecting me to come to heel like I always do."
"What are you talking about?" says Dolores.
"I've spoken to my solicitor," Pete replies.
