Poems in a Pandemic, a Poetry Programme special presented by Olivia O'Leary and broadcast at 1:30 pm on Monday 1st June 2020, brings us a selection of poems responding to the Covid 19 crisis - listen to it above.

Contributing poets include Steve Denehan and his eight-year-old daughter, Robin, who describe how the family is keeping themselves occupied under lockdown, and Trish Bennett, whose mother rebels against cocooning. Mark Roper finds comfort in nature, and Paddy Bushe is intrigued by a strange sculpture that appears on a local beach.
