The British GQ Men of the Year Awards took place tonight, lighting up London's Royal Opera House.

Now in its 26th year, the annual event paid tribute to the men and women carving their own paths in their own unique style.

Celebrating stars from design and politics to entertainment and sport, the red carpet was particularly glamorous as it welcomed this year's MOTY cover stars Jeremy Allen White, Ncuti Gatwa, Boygenius, and Irish actor Andrew Scott.

The star-studded red carpet also welcomed a host of famous guests including Daisy Edgar Jones, Emma Corrin, and Irish comedian Aisling Bea.

Styled by Warren Alfie Baker, Dublin actor Andrew Scott looked exceptionally dapper in a Valentino suit, complete with low-cut mauve shirt and thin gold chains.

Kildare comic Aisling Bea looked chic in a blue velvet suit from Galvan London, which she paired with a black velvet bustier that she bought second hand from the Vestiaire Collection and some pieces from Alighieri Jewellery and Chupi.

Bea took to Instagram to thank The Seam, a London-based company who stepped in to tailor her jacket at the last minute:

"They are an amazing female founded company set up to get us all to look after rewear, repair and fix our clothing - all you do is tell them about the item you want repaired or altered and they connect you to a local Maker. You can visit a local studio or send items by post. Please check them out."
