Ben Dunne says he has no idea how a cheque for £20,000, signed by him, made out to cash from his own personal account, ended up in an account for Charles and Maureen Haughey.

Ben Dunne has told the Moriarty Tribunal he has no recollection of giving £20,000 to Charles and Maureen Haughey in 1993. The cheque for cash was lodged to the Haughey's account at a time when Mr. Dunne said he was suffering from depression and mentally unstable. He also said he could not be sure if he has given any more money to the Haugheys.
