Strictly Come Dancing has announced the final three celebrities who will be taking part in its festive special on BBC One on Christmas Day.

Actress and presenter Tillie Amartey, rugby union player Danny Cipriani, and Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan will all be taking to the dancefloor in a bid to become Christmas Champion 2023.

Amartey will dance with Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones.

"My family have been avid fans of Strictly since forever so no pressure!" she said.

"The nerves are real, but I am super excited to bring some much-needed joy to the telly while I shimmy and sparkle my two left feet through the Christmas special!"

Cipriani will dance with Strictly professional Jowita Przystał.

"I've always enjoyed the concept of Strictly Come Dancing, it wasn't something I ever thought I'd do," he said.

"After addressing my own ideas and beliefs, I am very much looking forward to expressing myself through dance with no limitations. Strictly brings joy to everyone's living rooms, being a part of that for Christmas Day will be special."

Buchanan has been paired with Strictly professional Gorka Márquez.

"I am so excited to be taking part, and over Christmas too, my favourite time of the year!" she enthused.

"I am looking forward to learning some new moves and embracing the dancefloor!"

In total, six couples will be trying to impress head judge Shirley Ballas and her colleagues Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke on Christmas Day.

The other couples are: broadcaster Dan Snow and his professional dance partner Nadiya Bychkova; BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent and her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima; and EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and his professional dance partner Nancy Xu.
