Tell us three things about yourself . . .

As well as music I am a big movie fan, I love horror and 80s movies. I even did special effects at university. I am extraordinarily clumsy on a ridiculous level, literally just waiting for the day I trip and fall off stage. I have a natural talent for saying something really weird in the wrong situation and making everyone uncomfortable.

How would you describe your music?

A punk/emo rollercoaster of emotions from dealing with toxic relationships, poor life choices and depression with some guitars, synths and screamy vocals thrown in.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Joan Jett is a big inspiration to me in terms of what she has created for women in rock music. I am also a big fan of Juliette Lewis; she completely wows me as a performer. I'm a big fan of powerful stage presence and putting all your energy into the performance through movement as well as the sound and for me Juliette Lewis is the absolute queen of this. Last but not least Janis Joplin, she absolutely kicked ass in a time for music that was mainly dominated by men. She is also one of my favourite vocalists of all time.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

There are no cool points in this whatsoever! It was Craig David! But we all start somewhere and I was a child. A few years later I discovered all my dad's vinyl of AC/DC, Whitesnake, Motorhead, Sabbath and my world started to change.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Again, to my embarrassment it was Wannabe by The Spice Girls on CD single from Woolworths. Haha! No point in telling lies. I didn't really develop a decent musical taste until my early teens when it became a massive part of my life.

What’s your favourite song right now?

I am one of those people, when I like a song I will become obsessed and listen to it over and over until i find the next one to obsess over. I've been listening to a bit of Amity Affliction at the moment, they have a song called Drag the Lake. It's absolutely beautiful and the vocals on the chorus are so powerful.

Favourite lyric of all time?

''And if you feel that you can't go on, and your will's sinkin' low, just believe and you can't go wrong. In the light you will find the road" Led Zeppelin - In the Light.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Limp Bizkit - Ready to Go. Motivates me on a daily basis haha! Ultimate hype anthem!
