A determined Katie Taylor had little time for talk as she came face-to-face with conqueror Chantelle Cameron in Dublin, promising a "completely different fight" in the bid for revenge at the 3 Arena on Saturday.

Taylor and Cameron faced off with the Bray boxer giving little away in her plan to turn the tables on the Englishwoman, only to say she will be "ready" for the biggest challenge of a long career in the sport.

Taylor said: "I feel a lot better this time around, I just can't wait. There’s nothing else to say really. I’m ready to fight. I hate all the talk. I hate all these press conferences. There’s nothing to say. I’m just ready. I’m ready for whatever comes my way and ready to dig deep when I have to. I’ll be ready for whatever comes my way.

"I have a second chance here. I just can’t wait to fight at this stage. Whether I’m the underdog or favourite, or whoever walks to the ring second, all of that stuff is irrelevant. I’m just excited and hungry for the rematch and I can’t wait to step in there on Saturday and perform the way I know I can."

Taylor will have to overcome the younger, fresher champion who has aired supreme confidence having already silenced the Dublin crowd in May.

Many expect it to be an uphill battle for Taylor, but she is unconcerned by such opinion.

"I don’t take too much notice of what people are saying to be honest. I’m single-minded and the only people I listen to are my team, my family and the people I trust.

"I understand this is a huge fight and a must-win fight for me. I can’t wait to just step in there at this stage. I know I’m going to perform to the best of my ability and it’s going to be a completely different fight to the last time. I’m just excited to showcase that."

Taylor’s coach Ross Enamait thinks his fighter is better prepared for the challenge of Cameron.

He stated: "I feel like we’re in a much, much better place this time around. A lot healthier. There is no pressure on us. Nobody here thinks we have got a shot. We’re here to prove everyone wrong. We’re ready for the fight.

"Losing sucks. Nobody wants to be there. It’s a long time since she had a loss. She is always hungry. She is definitely hungrier now and in a much better place. We had a great camp."

Cameron also claims to be in a better scenario and is expecting an even more dominant performance.

She feels Taylor will at least make it a more difficult night.

"I’m not complacent whatsoever," the undisputed super lightweight champion said.

"That is why I’ve put the work in and trained harder than ever. I feel like it’s the best camp I’ve had because I know I’m going to be up against it. Katie is seeking revenge and I can’t take it in my stride thinking it’ll be a walk in the park. It definitely isn’t going to be. It’s the fittest I’ve ever been.

"I always set a hot pace. Every time I fight I go in there and set the pace. I’ve got a high workrate and I’m going to do what I’ve got to do. I can also adapt to any situation. As much as I can have a high workrate, get stuck in and have a fight, I can also box.

"I’m embracing the week and enjoying it for once. I’m just taking it in my stride. I’ve had great preparation. This is the strongest I’ve ever been. I’m good to go."
