A ferry company has sent a call-out to try and locate a young artist who posted a blueprint to their Dublin office without leaving their name or contact details.

Swedish-owned Stena Line says it is embarking on a new voyage to try and find the mystery artist who they want to thank for sending them in a picture of the 'S.S. Barbara' - a fictional ship.

The drawing was sent to the company’s Dublin Port office, and the team say they are keen to show their appreciation for it.

Stena Line’s social media team said: "We’ve received an incredible drawing of a ship from an anonymous young artist, and we were blown away by the talent on show.

The drawing was sent to the company's Dublin office

"From the chandeliers to the barbershop on board, it is giving us some great ideas!

"We’d love to say thank-you, but we need your help as we can’t reach the person who drew it.

"If you know who created this masterpiece, please get in touch."

They have encouraged anyone with information to send an email with the subject line ‘Child Genius’ to comments@stenaline.com.
